Meet the New acting Chicago District Manager/Postmaster of the Chicago Performance Cluster, MS. Gloria E. Tyson.

The Chicago District welcomes Gloria Tyson as its acting District Manager/Postmaster, effective Saturday, September 30.
Tyson fills the position held by Kelvin Mack, who has been named acting Manager, Mail Transport Equipment at USPS headquarters in Washington, DC. "I'm looking forward to joining the Chicago team", Tyson said. "Chicago is a great city, and I'm committed to making sure we provide excellent service to our customers."
"I'm also excited to pick up the baton for the Chicago Customer Satisfaction Initiative." Tyson said, referring to the district-wide program currently underway. "The initiative is off to a good start, and I'm looking forward to continuing the momentum and helping Chicago set the new standard for customer satisfaction in the Postal Service."
Tyson comes to Chicago from Detroit, where she served 2 years as District Manager. Prior to Detroit, she served as Alabama District Manager and Manager, Delivery Programs Support in the New York Metro Area, among several management positions throughout her USPS career. She joined the Postal Service as a letter carrier in New York City in 1980, and is a graduate of the USPS Executive Development Program.
